Letter from God

To: YOU
Date: TODAY
From: GOD
Subject: YOURSELF
Reference: LIFE

This is God. Today I will be handling All of your problems foryou. I do Not need your help. So, have a nice day.I love you. :)

P.S. And, remember...If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannothandle, do Not attempt to resolve it yourself! ?Kindly put it in theSFGTD (something for God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME. ?Allsituations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours.? Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it byworrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that arepresent in your life now.

If you find yourself stuck in traffic, don't despair. There are peoplein this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.

Should you have a bad day at work; think of the man who has been outof work for years.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; think of the personwho has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; think of the womanin dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feedher children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance;think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; think of the cancerpatient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.

Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life allabout, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those whodidn't live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

God has seen you struggling,God says it's over.

Summer is over :(

Well it has been an exciting week here in the Bain household. School has started along with other activites starting up for the year. Monday was alot of fun. This was Savannah's first full day of Middle School. We had a few break downs that morning, does my hair look ok mom, does my shirt make me look like a baby, what if I can't get my locker open? Very scary stuff!!! I am happy to report she made it through the week pretty much unscathed!!!! Yea!

Everyone likes their teachers pretty much ok, although Skye is taking Spanish, and Seth is taking French, so we are having the two of them talking to each other in both launguages it's pretty entertaining. (Should I say trying to talk and prenunsite to each other.)

Seth started in line Hockey this week he likes it, he just has a learning curb to over come since he has only ever played street hockey. Plus the boys on his team have been eating wheaties a year or two longer than him. (Their Bigger) Which is funny being that he is 5ft 8in now. He just has no meat on him (Scott side of the family, and no butt, Davis side of the family.)

Savannah has started piano over the summer and really likes it, the funny part is her teacher talks more than her, (you have to know Savannah), this irkes Savannah alittle she can't get a word in!!!

Skye startes Dancing next week, She is taking Point, Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Hip hop and Tap. She is on the Competition team this year so she is ready for it to get started.

This is Skye and her friends all dressed up in costumes
we have collected over the years. They walked around
the neighborhood like this for about an hour!

This is us at the Zoo, the animals behind us are baby
alligators. The unfamiliar boy is Alec, Skye's
friend that is a boy. Everytime I would take
a picture Seth would get in between them.
What a good brother he is!!!

Bag Worms

Well last week I noticed two of my evergreens were looking like they were dying. upon closer inspection 100's of cocoon looking things where hanging everywhere. The worst part is they were all wiggling. Blaaaaa-grossness.
My yard guy pulled up while I was doing this and informed me what they were and that I should go fishing with them. He also said the only way to get rid of them was to pull them off the trees and burn them!!! Great I'm thinking, just what I want to do.
So Trent and I enlist the whole family and we pick bag worms off our trees for close to two hours. Everyone except Trent wore gloves, it was right there on the top 10 grossest things I've done. Just thought I'd share.

Happy Anniversary to Us!!!

Monday Trent and I celebrated our commitment to each other.
We miss Cabo terribly and hope to return when ever we can. (this year if all works out!!!)
We had such a great time there, actually both times we have been. I am so blessed to have such a caring and giving person to love me and the kids so much! He is my angel!!! I love waking up in his arms everyday.

where does the time go?

I looked up this week and wow we have three weeks till school starts. Where does it go? We are having such a great summer I hate for it to end. I went to wal-mart this week and bought most of the list for school supplies. I hate to go when everyone goes or on the tax free weekend. People that go on that weekend are like people that shop on Christmas Eve. Not very bright! So anyway I'm feeling pretty good about myself the planner that I am.

Skye has had a fun summer but she needs a job!!!!! Oh the life of a 15 years old. She went to Hilton Head two weeks ago, Center Hill yesterday and Skied for the first time. She said it took her 3 times but she did it!!! She is about finished with drivers ed. She almost wrecked with the driving instructor. The poor lady had to slam on her break too. Skye said the lady kept grabbing the stirring wheel also to keep her from hitting random things like mail boxes and such. She's a good girl though.

Seth has been a busy boy. He has worked a lot this summer dog sitting. He is so responsible with is jobs it makes a momma proud. He is still swimming and he is doing really good, but I think he likes tennis better ( he is a beast at this). His golfing is coming right along too. He is going to ask good Ole Saint Nick for his first set of adult golf clubs. He is 5ft 7in now and growing like crazy. He is shaped like my dad and uncle Jerry so there is no telling how tall he'll be. If we could just put some weight on them bones.

Oh Savannah, she is doing so good this summer, she looks more like a middle schooler everyday. Right before school starts we are going to layer her hair like a BIG girls. She is so excited. She is loosing her milk belly too and getting tall. She is swimming and playing tennis too. But she is really excited about starting the piano. Her and her teacher are a lot alike so I think it will be a good fit.

One of the most exciting things I did this week was make blackberry jam!!!! I always thought it was a lot harder than it really was but it wasn't. It was very satisfying.

We finished our media room this week, that is very exciting especially for the boys in our household, they just like holding the remote.

Sorry haven't written more, promise to do better!!!!!!!

will post pictures later too!

My Fairy children!!!

Sometimes sisters make you think something is a good idea until a picture gets taken. Poor Seth has had to endure more pink and princess movies than most. I think he will be a very rounded man. Maybe Gods preparing him for daughters.
