My Fairy children!!!

Sometimes sisters make you think something is a good idea until a picture gets taken. Poor Seth has had to endure more pink and princess movies than most. I think he will be a very rounded man. Maybe Gods preparing him for daughters.

We have been going non stop! Woot summer is here! Today is the last day of school for Seth and Vannah. Skye's last day was Monday. But it's short lived they leave for West Virginia on Thursday for 2 weeks. It's always bitter sweet, I love it for about 2 days then I miss them terribly. Happy summer to all!!!! Well Skye turned 15 last week. We had a small party with an ice cream cake, I wanted to make her one but she love ice cream cake. She will get mad at me but I took her for her permit test and she missed 1 too many and failed the test. So I'm supposed to take her back today, ( you have to wait seven days before you can take it again.
Last weekend the kids and I went to the Renaissance Festival with dad and Cati. This is a picture of the queen and her party. It was pretty crazy all the people walking around in costume. Seth was dying for a 4ft long sword. I had to say no, 13 year old BOY and a sword is a scary combo. They all ate turkey legs (kinda grossed me and Cati out), girls aren't supposed to gnaw feed like that.
This is Skye and her friend Courtney trying on Robin hood hats (Skye says they are peter pan hats). See the people in the back ground? It was pirate weekend. Hey just noticed person in background gnawing on turkey leg! See not very lady like!!!
If you are wondering what this is, this is what happens when you give 150 kids a can of shaving cream each and let them go! Church was having a moving up party for the 5th graders. They are moving into the middle school this is just a taste of whats to come. I had to put them in the car like this. Savannah rode in the trunk of the van. I wrapped Seth in a blanket and told him not to move. Seth kept putting shaving cream in Vannah's face so you can tell she was rather mad. Brotherly love is so lovely!!!!

Can you Hand Jive??

I was thinking yesterday of all the events that have
ever gone on at Meme and Papa's house. When
you walk around it's really a weird feeling. How many
weddings, receptions, baby showers, Fathers Days,
Fourths of July wow you could go on and on. The summers
Mel and Renee stayed, the Christmases we've had. If walls
could talk we could write a book!!

Things look smaller the older I get and it still feels
odd that Meme is not there. I spent hours with her
in the wash room sewing and cutting for her. Playing on
that old type writer she had.
I hate all the things she misses, its sad to think about
how when you die life just keeps going for the others
you left behind. It doesn't seem fair to miss parties
like we had yesterday but I felt her there
watching us smiling down on our Cati and being as
proud of her as we all our. :)


This is the last wave of people that just couldn't
get enough!! Thanks everyone for coming,
we had a great day. We love you Cati!!!!

This is Skye's first attempt at Soccer, she is confused
on which goal is hers. (Last week she scored in the
wrong goal.) Look at her jersey, yes that is paint
from where they GAMED up for a game. She still has
blue paint in her hair!!!!


Savannah was in the talent show at school this week.
